⁷ a woman came up to Him with an alabaster jar of very expensive oil. And she poured it on His head as He was reclining at the table. ⁸ But when the disciples saw this, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste? ⁹ It could have been sold for a lot, and the money given to the poor!”
